Bucket of Flowers

Hello papers lovers, back with my card for this weeks color challenge over at the http://thecolorroom.ning.com  This is the 101 challenge with a sketch and color palette designed by Lydell Quinn. This week I didn't follow the sketch because I wanted to use this old water can stamp that I have. This is from a very old stamp set from http://StampinUp.com I love new products but we all have some old favorites that we pull out from time to time.

I used Versamark ink on the stamp and then used a white/sand color embossing powder and a dark purple embossing powder too. I like the rustic look it gave the watering can.
I cut out some flowers with the Silhouette die cut machine.  The Ivy is from Silhouette too. I cut some lavender and pale green paper a bit larger than the card, then I wet the edges and scrunched the paper up to kinda make a frame for the edge of the card. This is one of my favorite card designs, you can use it for almost any occasion.
All product for this card was purchased at http://sparkspaperdaisies.com I used some small 8 x 8 papers and there was no manufacturer on the back of the paper. I didn't realize it till I got home. Oops : ).
Below is another photo of Cleo and my oldest son, when we brought her home 15 years ago!! We are missing her so, our house is so quiet without her little presence. We know there is another dog just waiting to join our family, hopefuly soon!!
I have several projects going at once right now so will be posting a bit more often if I can get them finished!! Thank you so much for stopping by and please leave a comment, I would love to hear from you!
 Have a great day, Lori!
