Sagebrush in Northern Nevada

This year in Northern Nevada the sagebrush is just ablaze.

Sagebrush is the Nevada state flower.

Let's be honest, sagebrush probably won't be winning any beauty contests in the flower world. Quite a bit of competition out there. But this year our sagebrush bloomed in her full glory and I think she could hold her own in a desert flower contest!

The wide open spaces of the wild west!

Our autumn colors may be subtle but they are beautiful in their own way.

I hope you enjoyed my sagebrush picture fest. A little peak of fall here in Nevada.

I hope you are savoring natures bounty this fall where you live. Thank you for stopping by, make sure to come back and visit again, Lori

  1. You know what would make that sagebrush look even better? An Illinois concrete worker.

  5. I love your gorgeous photos of sagebrush. My mother moved to Northern Nevada years ago and I just finished closing her estate after she died. I am really going to miss autumn in Nevada and the horses. I'm allergic to sage in bloom, but with Zyrtec I'm fine. But there's nothing nicer that I can imagine. The mountains are beautiful too. Thank you for sharing your photos.

  6. I got to thinking about your wonderful photographs and was wondering if you could email me if you post more photos of your area out in the desert? I am an artist and I've just started work on a digital painting of the rocky red mountains in the snow around Carson City where my mother lived. I don't actually get out that much due to health problems, so it's difficult for me to go take my own photos. Please let me know if I may use some of these photos in a painting or two. Thanks so much!

  8. I used to use a manual razor before, but later I found this electric waterproof shaver. It is very practical, and the electric razor Panasonic also recharged by USB braun m60. It's waterproof and has the function of shaving nose hair. I like it very much and the price is affordable. I will buy it again
