Hello paper lovers, tonight I have my card for the 100th color palette/sketch by Lydell Quinn at http://thecolorroom.ning.com
Once again I tried to follow the sketch this week, well as much as I could. I used a barn graphic from my http://www.printartist.com software and printed it twice, the second time printing it a bit larger than the first time. Then I cut the smaller print into 4 pieces, inked the edges of each piece and positioned them a bit off kilter onto the larger print.
I dry brushed some blue paint onto the background paper, stitched the edges, added some buttons, ribbons and some lace that I pleated. I glued gunned the buttons to make sure they stay in place. I stamped "True Friend" onto a small circle and glued it to the upper tab. Below is a picture of the back of the card.
For this card I used paper from http://MyMindsEye.com from the Miss Caroline line by Jen Allyson, that I purchased at http://sparkspaperdaisies.com
Lastly here is a photo of our beloved Cleo who sadly passed onto doggie heaven this week. We were so lucky to have her in our family for 15 years. I can't think of a better way to describe her, she was above all a "True Friend"
Thank you for stopping by, please leave a comment, I would love to hear from you!
Have a great day! Lori
