Are you loving the grain sack trend?
The simplicity of a grain sack stripe is so eye catching.
I thought I should make some grain sack cards. I kept them really simple.
I personalized the cards. I think everyone likes getting something with their name on it. Just that one extra step to make it special.
I used one of my favorite transfer techniques for these cards. After settling on my design for the card, I set my printer setting on "Mirror Image" then printed the design onto a transparency sheet. I quickly rubbed the print onto the card.
This is such a fun way to make your own rub-on.
Next I framed one card in a white frame...
and then another in a black frame.
This was a quick fun project. Just used a bit of imagination.
I made a few sets of cards for some friends to give out as Valentine's gifts. A personalized gift for some special people.
