DIY Autumn Table Runner

Looking for an easy Autumn project?

I have a quick table runner you can put together in an hour or so.

First decide how wide and long you want your table runner to be. Cut your fabric accordingly. Then place the right side of the fabric together and stitch down both sides of the table runner.

Press your seams open after stitching. Do not skip this step, it will give the table runner a more finished look.

Turn the fabric right side out and press the seams again.

Measure and cut your trim. I attached my trim with a glue gun.

First I glued the length of the trim then I tucked the outer ends of the trim under the table runner and adhered them with a dot of glue from the glue gun.

Quick, easy and the trim lays nice and flat.

One more pressing with the iron needed!

Then I added some Autumn decor.

This was an easy project. I love the way this burlap table runner turned out. Sewing with burlap can be messy sometimes as burlap can shed. But this particular fabric has a tight weave and hardly shed at all.

I want to say welcome and a sincere thank you to my new followers!! I appreciate all my followers and everyone who visits! Hope you are enjoying some fabulous Autumn weather.

Thank you for stopping by, have a great day, Lori
